??Chalky build-up under coilovers??

I have a chalky build-up under my rear-passenger coilover. Brand-new and just installed 5 days ago. I didn't notice this before the install and I sure think that I would have. I can't seem to trace it back anywhere, it's like it just appeared. My coilovers use a connected canister resevoir vs. a remote resevoir

Any idea what it might be?? I appreciate any help. It's really driving me crazy.

Where are you located? (climate)

Los Angeles. Hotbits coilovers DT series rally 46mm. I should have taken a picture first, but I kept cleaning it back to try to find a source untill it was all gone,

It's really wierd stuff. It's litterally like dirty chalk. Some sort of heavy calcium deposit maybe.

Wish the G4's were still available!!!

I'm not sure how I can help, as I'm not sure what this build-up material is. If you are concered, I would suggest that you contact the manufacturer, as they should have a better idea of what can be expected off their product as they would know how how it's made and finished.
