Hey, just wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on the Whiteline range of adjustable sway bars for the 2000 Honda Integra Type R (DC2 Shape).

I notice they offer 24mm options for both front and rear that are blade adjustable but they also offer an extra heavy duty adjustable front sway bar that is 27mm!!!

I take my car to the track 4 or 5 times a year and run semi slicks. Just looking to extract some more cornering performance.

I currently have D2 coilovers....not the best I know but the car was already fitted with them when I purchased it.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Hello Nabsie,

For a vehicle that frequently attends track days, especially if using semi-slick tyres, I would recommend the fitment of the 27mm adjustable front swaybar and the 24mm rear swaybar, this provides an excellent vehicle balance that is well suited to the track.

I hope this helps you.

Cheers,
Wayne C

Hi again,

Just been thinking about your previous comments and though you say the 27mm/24mm combination is well suited to a vehicle fitted with semi slicks and frequents the track. I was wondering what the effects would then be like once switching to normal street radials and street driving on mountain roads etc. Will the effects be detrimental to the ride? Or would the 24mm/24mm be better suited to this type of condition?

Thanks for you help.

Hello Nabsie,

The 27mm front bar when used with normal road tyres works quite well with no detrimental effects to the ride quality. The levels of grip are still adequate in road tyres to get the results from the swaybar.
