hi, just receieved my whiteline sway bars. just wondering if having larger sway bars causes more stress on to the strut towers on a front wheel drive car.
plus also if having a large V6 motor (Vs a four clylinder motor) cause more stress on the strut towers??

i think i'm after a good reason to get a strut brace:) what do u guys recon?
will the gains of a strut brace be more beneficial now that i got sway bars fitted or less? i already have lowering springs and performance shocks.

plus my sway bars didnt come with end links. they are the type with little ball joints on each end. can u please send a short cut to the catalogue part of your web site.
the rear links are plastic and the front ones give alot of problems evan with the factory sway bar so i think i better change them

Makker,

All vehicles manufactured using strut type suspension are susceptible to flexing at the strut tops, and benefit from the fitment of strut tower braces as they provide additional bracing to the unsupported section of the chassis.
Vehicles with larger / heavier engines are subjected to greater flexing at the strut tops due to the additional load.
By strengthening one particular area of the suspension (increasing the spring rates or fitting larger sway bars) the overall suspension will be subjected to an increase in load, resulting in the weakest area becoming more noticeable.
The fitment of strut tower braces will always provide a noticeable improvement to a vehicle with this becoming even more apparent on vehicles fitted with heavier duty suspension components.

As for the online catalogue, it is located at www.whiteline.com.au . Unfortunately we do not have a vehicle specific listing for sway bar end-links to suit the Magna, however our Universal spherical bearing sway bar end-links (part # KLC40-size) should be able to fit the given vehicle.

I hope this helps you.

Cheers,
Wayne C

thank u for your quick reply. i've installed your products on saturday night.
the quality of the parts was A1 and the car now drives great! its exactly how i wanted it. i'll source a strut brace this week:) and get the wheel alignment done. is there anything i should tell the wheel alignment guy before he does the alignment?
the car in question is actually a alfa V6 156.
what lenghts do the end links come in?
