Hi

I have a prelude 99 ATTS (in the us known as a sh) i'm installing some koni shocks and eibach springs and i'm looking to also upgrade my wheels to 18" and i need to get some suspension parts to get the shocks to fit.

Firstly i need some bump stops, i believe w0922 should work as the konis shaft is 12mm.

Secondly i need to replace the steel shaft bushing inside the spring cap to get the larger shock shaft through, with this i'm wondering if i should get some new spring caps which can adjust the camber?

So really i'm asking if white line have the steel shaft bushing or new spring caps/shock tops

Thanks
caleb

Hi caleb,

W0922 suits 20-22mm shock or strut shaft.
W0921 suits 10-14mm shock shafts.

If you can give us the exact dimensions of the steel tube that you need, we will check if have these.

Regards,
Wojtek.

i've had a bit more think about this and something i forgot to metion is that the new springs are smaller diameter and although they will fit they may not sit correctly, do you think this will this be an issue?

Sorry, I'm not sure what you have done and what your question is.

i bought shocks and springs for the prelude vtir but i have the atts version, the reason i did this as there aren't any made for the atts and they are similar except for the fact that the springs are larger in the atts than the vtir.

so the shocks will fit fine when i get the metal pipe bushing talked about above but the springs are smaller and fit but dont fit snugly in the spring caps as the caps are made for a larger spring.

so i'm wondering if that would be an issue as if it is i will need to get spring caps for the vtir or custom made springs same diameter as the atts stock ones just stiffer

It is difficult for me to comment on your individual case remotely, but it is very important that the springs are properly seated in their top and bottom platforms, and that the springs are held captive at full suspension travel.

Wojtek.
