Hi,

I?ve just ordered Whiteline?s complete Handling Kit for my Toyota EP91 Starlet/Glanza Turbo, and it?s on it?s way to me.

I do have a question on the recommended front wheel alignment settings though.
These recommendations are: camber: -1.75, castor: +2.0, Toe in/out: 0.0 (neutral).

Now, these cars are normally fitted with 195/50R15?s, but I?m running 205/40R17, for which the OD is about 0.7? larger. Would that change the recommended settings in any way?

Many thanks,

Serge .

Hello Serge,

In general, I would say to stick with the recomended settings, and see how things go. If you encounter problems then I would start trying alternate settings to counter the problems.
With aftermarket wheels you can not predict if there will be problems or not, as it will depend on the wheel offset, and if it's different to OE then all sorts of problems can occur.
