G'day everyone,

Whiteline are offering close to the equivalent of 5 x Celica ST165 Alltrac performance suspension "Works" kits via eBay at http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2464848522 .

These kits were specially ordered by 185 Performance in the US and were in transit to Colorado but were held back due to non-payment by the buyer. We had to re-route the stock and it is now located at PDM Racing in Vancouver awaiting a home.

As 185 Performance is still unwilling to pay for this order, we have no choice but to offer it for sale If we can't sell this as a job lot we will send it home to Sydney. Great opportunity for a group buy and we'd much rather see it on enthusieasts cars even if it is at a drastically reduced price!

ONLY available as a job lot, the package contains all the components of Whiteline part # KTOY07X x 5 kits except for 4 x rear shock inserts. The equivalent individual Whiteline component contents are therefore;

73198 Front Control low spring pair x 5

73199 Rear Control low spring pair x 5

1204602 Front sport rated adjustable strut inserts x 10

1303512 Rear sport rated adjustable strut insert conv. x 6

BTF73 Front heavy duty 27mm swaybar x 5

BTR78Z Rear heavy duty adjustable 20mm swaybar x 5

KCA376 Front Castor and anti-lift kit x 5

W0570 Rear trailing arm poly bush kit x 5

You can see the Fact Sheet detailing the kit and contents at http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/fact_sheets/CK_Cel_ST165.pdf

This auction IS on behalf of the manufacturer, Whiteline Automotive and we would much prefer to see this product fitted to the vehicles it was designed for. This stock was developed specially for this car and 185 Performance and so is unlikely to be produced again.

Postage is NOT available for this item as it is too heavy but shipping via air or sea freight can be arranged to anywhere in the world, just ask for a quote. The reserve price is below distributor cost ex factory in Sydney so its a great opportunity.

Feel free to contact us with any questions at sales@whiteline.com.au.

Cheers
Jim

hi this concerns me abit:

This stock was developed specially for this car and 185 Performance and so is unlikely to be produced again.

does this mean you will not be making products for the st 165?

Hi Betsy,

We have quite a bit of stock left over as you know. ;)

Judging by the lack of interest in the eBay stock we would expect that this stock would last some time. We would have to review the position once it was cleared out but concidering we only developed this product on the basis of a minimum 20x kit order from 185 Performance, its unlikely that we will have sufficient demand to produce again.

Cheers

Hi Steve,

I understand your position, we encourage people to upgrade in stages so they can experience the difference various components make. We 'd love to be able to supply you all your suspension needs while you upgrade over time. ;)

But, we can only respond to customer demand and our customers are primarily dealer and wholesalers as only they can afford (normally) to purchase the quanitity we need to develop the solution.

The best way to ensure the future of the range is to contact your distributor and tell them what you think. They will in turn talk to us having pooled the various interest from other like minded people.

Believe me, we just want to make more stuff for any car and don't have anything against the Celica or St165 platform. Its just a case of volume and demand, we can't do everything.

Best

Jim

Hi Steve,

This question is best answered off list via our normal email channels.

Its difficult to answer your question with out knowing who you're specific supplier is and how they access our product. We can make product to order but it is low on the priority list at the moment. I can tell you that is a heap of it located in Vancouver.

Thanks
Jim
