Hi guys. I am after some anti-sway bars, camber adjustment bolts and possibly springs for my Celica. I notice on the Whiteline website the ST182 isnt listed but there is an ST184  Never heard of the ST184 in the UK. Can someone tell me if this is the same as ST182??
Cheers

Hi Martin,
uhmmm, we never heard of a ST182, in Australia we had either the front wheel drive ST184 or the four wheel drive turbo ST185. I would suspect that our ST184 sway bars will fit ST182 as well, but can't confirm.

i think the st182 might be the coupe version as opposed to the st184 liftback...

or something like that.

Yep mine is the coupe. Pretty much the same as the Japanese Gt-R, 2.0litre 3SGE engine 158bhp as standard, FWD.
What dimensions are critical to knowing if the ST184 parts will fit?

BTW, i would want the parts for track-day in May ;)

Hi,
If all the difference between ST182 and ST184 is body type, and you are sure that the suspension is te same, then you can try our ST184 parts.
Giving dimentions may help to identify similar parts, but unfortuantely it is not enough to guarantee fitment and more importantly the intended outcome.
Pictures will help, if you have any please email them to me direct.

thanks,
Wojtek.

What pics do you want mate? I can post a link to a pic of the outside of the car if you are unsure and/or i can get underneath and get some snaps of the suspension components as you wish.

ST182 = JDM Celica with a 2lt 3SGE engine
ST183 = (same as above but with 4wheelsteer)
ST184 = US, UK and AUS Celica

Chassis itself is identical so yes components will go from one to the other.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the info ST182.
Interesting that you mention 4 wheel steer.... I must say that I've not heard of any Toyota having a 4 wheel steer system. Do you have any more information on this?

Wojtek.

really, wow

it was implemented on all ST183 GTR celicas as far as i know.

When buying a celica myself i completely avoided it as it messes up cornering, and the computers are apparantly quite expensive to replace and dont last too long, especially since the celicas are about 15 years old, well this shape anyway.

so yea, i bought myself a St182

specs for the jap market celicas.

I have got a St182 that I am fixing up, and a ST183 for parts. Is the engine the same in both of these?
