View Full Version : an ALK hypothesis...

So, having determined that the caster gains from either the full ALK, or the US Solo 2 legal insert bushing are a significant improvement, would there be such a thing as too much caster?

I am in the midst of switching from the full kit to the insert bushing, and wondered how much gains one would achieve by putting the insert bushing into the full housing of the other kit. Approximately how much total caster would be gained, and what effects would you expect to be made in terms of handling? Any significant compromises that would negate the benefits of doubling up the ALK?

Hello Kevin,

The question that you have put forward is something that can not be done as the Whiteline anti-lift/caster kit uses a specially made bush and there fore has a smaller I.D. than the OEM type rear mounting bush, so the replacement type bush for increasing caster will not fit into the Whiteline ALK mount.
