I have a My 01 bugeye WRX

The following whiteline parts

sway bars
22 mm front not adj
22 rear adj (middle holes both sides)
solid wire type drop links(whiteline)
whiteline rear camber bolts

Whiteline group 4 1k4006
(5 clicks all round)
30 mm drop front
23 mm drop rear

-1 deg neg camber all round
17 inch S03(215/45/17) tyres (2500km)
Factory pressures
2.3 bar front
2.2 bar rear

The car spins the right rear wheel when turning onto a angled driveway.

It also seems to drop into road dips very hard. The car body does not bounce when encountering dips etc

How can I cure this? I only need the performance settings on the track. I would prefer a more compliant ride on the road.

Hi,

Due to the stiffness of the springs and sway bars, it is quite normal to spin the inside rear wheel while nogotiating driveways. If that is the only place this happens, then that shouldn't be a problem.

Can you please advise your actual ride height, measured from centre of wheel to guard?
Have you tried softer shock settings?

Regards,
Wojtek.

When I used zero clicks(on the shocks) I still had the same problem

Hi,
I suggest you try by riasing the rear by ~10mm first.
The Group'4 kits are generally tuned for performance street/circuit racing, and most of our customers are happy with the outcome. If you want a softer ride suited just for street driving, then we can change the shock settings for you. But I suggest you raise the rear by ~10mm and softer the adjusters on the shocks first and see how that is.

Wojtek.

Thank you for the response. As aways whiteline is VERY responsive to their clients.

Will try it and get back to you.

What is the recommended drop for a 01WRX sedan?

PS I have now purchased a second group 4 kit for a MY03 WRX. And am waiting for the handling kit to arrive.

Hi,
For street use, we like to adjust the ride height of MY01-MY04 WRX to 365mm front and 355mm rear.

Wojtek.
