My01 WRX GDA

I have a set of whiteline sway bars

22 mm front not adj
22 rear adj
solid wire type drop links(whiteline)
whiteline rear camber bolts

Whiteline group 4 1k4006
(5 clicks all round)
30 mm drop front
23 mm drop rear

The car has -1 deg neg camber all round running 17 inch S03(215/45/17)

I would like to set the rear sway bar on it stiffest setting.

Will the neg 1 degree rear camber counter the oversteer problems associated with the hardest setting of the rear sway bar?

The car understeers under 120kph

Clarification to the above.

I wish to prevent snap oversteer on mid corner throttle lift off.

Just an interesting note.

I have had the sway bars on the car for approx 1.5 years with approx 32000 kms of use.

The sway bars(f/r) are not binding.(tested by removing endlinks and rotating bar by hand).

They have never squeaked. They have never been regreased. The original installer was a MRT/whiteline supplier.

Hello silver6933,

If you are experiencing over-steer on lift off, I would recomend to reduce the rear ride height to be 10-15mm lower than the front & set the rear Toe to 0.0mm /side, this will make the rear a bit more stable. If the rear ride height is to high when compared to the front (vehicle sitting level or bum up) this will cause the rear end to be far more nervous causing o/steer on lift off.
I would also recomend to increase the front wheels negative camber (1/4 of a degree extra should be sufficient), as I believe that you may have a slight lack of grip in the front. Another alternative is to fit the Caster/ant-lift kit if you do not already have this fitted.
Over-steer on lift off is an indication that the vehicle is pitching, lowering the rear will help to settle this.

Cheers
