My friend with a Mini Cooper is interested in the Whiteline Group4 coilovers, but he saw a remark that said only for racing.... why?
Also, does anyone know what the spring rates are? Also, are these stiff, compared to H&R or KW? Any ideas of the compression and rebound force? Adjustable?

Hi,
Coil-over kits are predominantly a race product, but if used on street cars then the large range of ride height adjustment built into means that it is possible for the owner to set the car up that does not comply with local road/vehicle regulations, deeming it illegal. Hence why this is a "for Racing".
We are very close to finalise the design and specifications for the Group'4 kit to suit Mini Cooper S series 2. Spring rates are 6kg/mm front and 5kg/mm rear. Shocks are mono-tube design with a 14 click adjustment.
Regards,
Wojtek.
