I have some camber bolts for my wrx but when I installed them I had problems with the camber setting slipping. The points on the washer have a lot of paint near them from the AGX struts. What am I doing wrong? Would it be better to grind off the points for better clamp load? Also what is the max torque for these bolts and what grade are they?

Hi,
It sounds like during the initial installation, the bolts were not tensioned enough. The spikes on the washer are critical to "bite" into the flange of the strut which should be done during the intial fitment to the recommended torque settings. Once torgue and spikes have "bedded" into the strut flange, the assambly can be released, adjusted, and re-torqued.
Torque settings vary between sizes, and are listed in the instructions.

Hope this helps.

The kit for the '02 REx is 12 mm; right? With a torque spec of 105 N-m?

Hello,
If you are refering to Subaru Impreza 2002, then no, KCA412 is not the right part. The correct camber kit is KCA414.

What is it that is measured as 14 mm, the lobe or the threaded end?
