I'm considering changing my sway bars on my MY04 wrx. Can't decide on 22 or 24mm fixed bars for front & rear. Going to change rear links & mounts to heavier duty but advised to leave front OEM. Anyone have any info on what's best?

Leaving standard springs & shocks at this stage.

G?day,

The heavier swaybars may not be suitable for street use, particularly on a standard suspension. Your best option will be the matched 22mm blade adjustable bars, front Part #'s BSF33Z and rear BSR36Z.

The rear swaybar alloy link kit is KLC26, and the heavy duty mounting kit is KBR20-size, (ie: KBR20-22 for BSR36Z).

Follow this with rear camber adjusting bolt kit KCA414 and front caster ant-lift kit KCA359. You will then have the equivalent of the Handling Pack :)

G'day Pete,

Thanks for that, I decided to go with the 22mm bars.

Cheers,
Ron

G'day Ron,

I believe you have made a wise choice and I'm confident that you will not be disappointed.

I suggest that you start with your front bar on the soft setting (outer hole) and the rear bar on the middle setting. Also ensure that you use plenty of grease to lubricate the bushes.

Good luck with your project :)
