Hi guys,

Just a quick one; does fitting the subframe align & lock kit affect the rear camber and toe settings?
I have noticed that the rear end is around 12mm lower with the kit fitted.
I am looking at removing the kit for daily use and re-fitting it for weekend track use, and thus am wondering if I need to adjust the alignment every time I do this?

Cheers,

Trent

Hi Trent,

Fitting KCA349 lock kit does not normally change rear camber and total toe settings, as all of the steering and control arms are bolted to the cross-member.
If during the fitment of KCA349 the cross-member is rotated in a horizontal plane, then athough total toe will remain the same, individual toe settings and therefore the thrust angle may change. This is very rare, and is usually avoided by fitting the kit in two stages and locking the cross-member in between front and rear installation.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Wojtek.
