Rear suspension shot

Hey Guys

The rear suspension on my 97 civic hatch has gone. Any ideas on good replacements?

Funds are pretty tight so I can't send the car project in one hit :(

Looking at around the 500 bucks mark for the rears.

Will that supply me with the goods? I rang a suspension place up here but they just asked what model commadore I had.

Rear bars - Just how good are they and would you recommend one?

What did you do, blow the dampers? What do you mean it's shot?

Yes a rear sway bar on a FF is "all that" and more.

Hi Scott,
I too am not quite sure what you mean by "gone suspension", but I assume you are refering to worn shock absorbers, which makes sense as they are wearing components. You would probably be experiencing some 'floating' over bumps especially on freeways / highways.
If that is correct, then you should obviously be replacing your shocks, and do this as a front and rear set.
