hey there,

hrmm my first post.

ok i have whiteline springs and rear adjustable swaybar on my ae92 hatch already.

Is there a front swaybar available with mounting brackets? Some ae92's didnt come standard with front sway bars. If so how are they attached to my vehicle.

also would you reccommend the camber bolt kits (kca415 & kca412)and caster adjustment kit control arm kca340)?

i have a toyota front strut brace, is there any benefit to fitting a whitleine front strut. A rear would be nice but not very practical, unless it was quickrelease(this would be good for hatch's).

finally, what shocks would you reccomend for my ae92?

thanks for your time

Paul

Hello Paul,

There is a front sway bar specifically designed for the AE92 Corolla without factory fitted sway bars, it is a complete kit with all the mounting hardware and fitting instructions required to fit it to the vehicle. The part number for this front sway bar is BTF77, it is a non-adjustable 24mm sway bar.

I do recomend the fitment of the front & rear camber kits as well as the caster kit, the camber kits allow the wheel alignment to be set to the exact figures that you require for optimum handling or tyre wear, and the caster kit helps to improve handling and steering response through the use of low compliance polyurethane bushes.

If you already have the Toyota stut tower brace, I would not worry about fitting another strut brace, as the Genuine brace is quite solid and does a good enough job.
As for the rear strut brace, we do have one for your application #KSB517, and we also now have an optional quick release mounting set # KSB790, specifically designed for use in hatchbacks.

In regards to shock absorbers, the KYB shocks are a very good shock and are well matched to our springs.
Koni's are also an excellent shock, but due to the many variations in OEM shocks used by Toyota, the Koni's will not always fit into the OEM strut body.

I hope this helps you.
