I was wondering if whiteline admins can tell me how much stiffer they 18mm bar for a 97 Audi A4 1.8t quattro is.

I think stock is a 16mm solid bar, according to the chart on the whiteline website that would make it 60% stiffer. Is the white line bar solid?

Also why no adjustable bar for the A4?

FYI neuspeed (in the US) makes an adjustable 19mm bar (and 22m). But I would prefer to buy Aussie, but I dont want the bar upgrade to be so minimal i can't feel it.

Thanks!

All Outta Angst,

Our swaybars are solid and you would have to check your particular vehicle to determine if the OEM bar is hollow or solid.

We found a significant improvement in the chassis balance of the vehicle with either BAR13/14 (as appropriate) fitted. An adjustable bar is available for the S2 Quattro.

A heavier bar can be manufactured as a one off if that is your requirement.
