I have a 93 Honda Civic hatchback with 95 Acura Integra GSR sway bars and lower control arms. I want to replace the rear 14mm swaybar with a whiteline adjustable bar. I also want urethane swaybar bushings for the front and rear, and replacement end links for the front and rear. I want castor bushings if they are beneficial to LHD on the RH side of the road (USA). I don't want to deck the whole suspension out with urethane though as this is a street car.

I tried looking up the part numbers but that portion of the website seems like it may be out of date and it's a little confusing. I don't want to order the wrong thing as it will be impossible to return it from the USA. If someone at Whiteline could reply or email me with the correct part numbers and prices with shipping I would very much appreciate it. Thanks.

G'day Shaun,

From the description of your car I take it that it came with a factory bar on the rear - the following is therefore applicable !!

We have two Blade adjustable rear swaybars for the EG Civic.

BHR36Z Blade adj 20-22mm
BHR36XZ Blade adj 22-24mm

Both of these swaybars come complete as replacement kits and include all the hardware necessary for installation on your car.

Now for the front bar. the bar we have listed for the DC2-4 Intergra is 24mm BHF39. If you require bushes for the bar on your car now, could you measure it and advise the diameter please.

Now for the alignment bits - The following items will fit your car and are suitable for both left and right hand drive vehicles.

Front Strut tower brace KSB570
Caster adj - lower control arm shim KCA301
Rear strut tower brace KSB525
Rear camber kit -upper control arm KCA370

I trust the above is helpful

Thanks! Very helpful!

The front sway bar on the "GSR" model Integra we have here is the same 24mm that comes on the Type R. Which bushings do I need?

Which of the two adjustable bars do you recommend for that front sway bar? I have Tokico RAK 5 way adjustable progressive rate coilovers if that makes a difference.

Also, very important. That thick of a rear bar will tear apart the chassis unless there is provision made for reinforcing the mounting area. So I just want to be sure that the hardware included in the kit is more than just to mount the sway bar. If not I can get a Comptech rear lower tie bar that reinforces the sway bar mounting area.

My Civic originally came without sway bars, but swapping the Integra lower control arms which have provisions for mounting the swaybars now makes the suspension virtually identical to that of the 94-01 Integra.

Thanks for your time.

G?day - my apology I missed your last reply.

Front swaybar bushes. Please check that the front swaybar to chassis mounting bushes are 36mm wide, that being the case SPF1697-24K will fit your 24mm bar.

It seems that you are serious about setting up your chassis and I would therefore suggest the larger of the two Blade adjustable rear bars. This is particularly true if you propose using larger rubber etc. Start with the rear bar on the softer setting (outer hole) and work up from there.

I am not aware of the characteristics of your shocks and springs and therefore cannot offer comment.

Rear Bear Mountings. Your comments are noted and we supply the following:

KBR28-(size)K. Extra heavy duty swaybar mount kit available in 18, 20 and 22mm. Note: This is now supplied as a standard component of BHR36Z.

KSB709. Alloy lower tie brace suit KBR28 series mounts. This is essential for larger bars.

I trust the above is helpful

Thanks so much for your help. One last question:

Can I see a picture or diagram of KSB709?

My email is shaundrake@metacrawler.com if it can't be posted on this forum.

G'day Shaun,

Checking out the thread, it would seem that I did not include a link to our Fact Sheet on your car. Shown below is a link to the Fact Sheet and an article on your chassis.

A view of the rear brace fitted to the later EK chassis can be found on page 2 of the following article.

Hey Peter I hope you notice this post. I want to keep it in context. The rear lower tie bar you recommended is about 2.5 inches too short. Also the supplied bolts are ridiculously long. It's for a Civic Ek and I have an EG. Is there a rear lower tie bar in the Whiteline catalog for EG? I'm in the USA. How should we go about resolving this?

The effect of the rear sway bar is incredible and I'm very pleased with the quality. However, it would have been helpful if there was at least a description of where each bolt, nut, and washer goes and which way the end links should be oriented. Also, the pictures look different than the supplied hardware.

Thanks for all your help. The car is completely transformed!!
