hi fitted my new W/L rear anti roll bar incl supplied bushs but i have noticed that the split, to enable fitment to the bar, in the bush has not entirely closed up when the u brackets are bolted up to the chassis..
is this correct? wil it cause any problems?
TIA
i believe the old bar had the same issues with the bushs..

Hello,
I would start with fitting the bar up, and then disconnecting the links off the end of the bar.
Try and pivot the bar through its motion and decide if it feels free or if the bushes are binding on the sway bar with too much pressure. If the bar pivots easily, then I would not be too concerned about the small gap. If There is too much pressure limiting the free operation of the sway bar, then you will need to get in contact with us and we will rectify the problem.
I hope this helps you.

hi, took both drop links off the bar, regreased the bushs and made sure the bar was centralised...
to turn it it feels a little notchy, intialy feels stuck then notchy?
not sure what else i can do, one side seems to be worse, gap, than the other..
the brackets are flat and level when sitting on a flat surface too.
what can be done?

Hello,
If the bar is pivoting relatively freely, then I beleive that the bushes will be alright for you.
The bushes that you have are slightly firm, but they are designed to be like that initially, and will wear in a short period of time and be ideal.
When the polyurethane bushes are made, they are designed to have a small amount of pre-load on them, so do not be alarmed about your bushes.
With polyurethane bushes you will need to remember that they do need to be re-greased at regular intervals, mainly when they start to squeak.
I hope this puts your mind at ease.
