Hi all,

I'm new here.

I have a 97 DC2 Vtir with 130k on the clock. Obviously, the suspension bits are a bit tired after getting knocked about under the car for so many years/kms. The handling can be best described as "sloppy" with fast sharp corners taken with a leap of faith most of the times.

I'd like to upgrade most components, with the bushes needing some urgent attention. I don't subscribe to the "low boy" school and am quite happy with the ride offered by the stock springs.

My proposed steps are as follows:
1. Upgrade all the bushes to urethane to promote longevity and to get more feel.
2. Retain the springs, but instead upgrade the dampers to Bilstein sport and fit thicker sway bars (gotta be whiteline) front and rear as means of body control.

Any feedback on my plan?

I have a couple of questions:

a) I need a one-stop shop for all the bushes - preferably for poly bushes that don't squeak nor require lubricating.

b) Bilstein sports are shown as for cars with shorter springs. Can they be fitted to DC2 stock springs?

I live in Sydney.

Thanks for your help

G'day T^2,

We have suspension packages for your DC2 and these are shown at the following Link:

http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/fact_sheets/CK_Integra_DC.PDF

I suggest that you consider starting with the Handling Pack and then add some chassis stiffening in the form of front and rear strut tower braces. You can then follow this with the matched springs and sports rated externally adjusted shocks in the Sports Pack. From your comments I suggest that our Control springs will better meet your needs. Note that there are different types of rear shocks - one has a "U" and the other has an "eye" on the base of the shock. The prices on the Fact Sheet will be out of date.

Bushes. The caster kit KCA301 will assist in tightening up the front end and we also have a full range of replacement bushes for your car. If you would like all the Part #'s could you contact me off list please.

I trust the above is helpful and will assist in developing a plan for your car.

Regards
Peter
