Rear spring install question.

I recently got the Whiteline Control Springs front and rear for my 04 WRX. The front went in fine. When I tried installing the rear however I ran into some issues. Here is what happens, I seat the spring on the strut in the same position that the stock sping sat. Then I attempt to put the top cap on so that the spring sits in the same "groove" created by the stock spring but when I do this the top cap does not align with the strut the way it should. Do I just need to rotate the top cap and let the new springs create their own "groove" or do you think I have the wrong springs? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also the part number on the box was 73194 which seems correct. However the number that is printed on the spring itself is different. On the spring it says "Whiteline 23194".

Thank you for your interest in Whiteline products.

If your WRX is a GD - GG then you have the correct part numbers. The height of our coil will be fine, as for coil position its a bit difficult to comment without images but you should be able to rotate the coil or hat back 30deg to line up the strut tower with out any future issues.
