Hi Squashball,

I like your line of thought here, with your interest to change the handling of the corolla, an anti-roll bar (ARB) or swaybar kit would be a worthwhile choice.

It will deliver the best bang for your back in terms of performance, it will be less intrusive on your ride comfort than say a set of stiffer springs, and it wont effect any ride heights. The main changes you will notice is less body roll during cornering, and a change in the handling of your car to a more neutral characteristic (from a factory understeering character).

We have listings for 2 types of rear ARB's for your car. A replacement one of 18mm diameter (BTR71) and a blade adjustable one which can be adjusted up to 20mm (BTR71Z), however this one will cost slightly more. The advantage is of course adjustment to your personal driving prefrence or for some harder driving during the weekend while having a softer setting for daily drives, it is designed for both street and racing.

Nice, i like the sound of that, i had a look on the whiteline website, but only found rear swaybars.

What about up front?

i'm bit of a noob about this, i understand what swaybars do and stuff, but yeah, are there any swaybar kits or anything like that, that i might be able to use?

i'm looking to reduce body roll all round, basically just firm it up around corners, i'm open to any and all suggestions, so yeah, even if you just point me in a direction

Hi there Squashball,

The reason we only make a rear swaybar, is that most front wheel drive cars need more rear bar but the factory front bar is usually sufficient. Particularly with the adjustable bar, you will be able to tune the handling to your tastes.
