Hello,

The Heavy duty steering mount Kit # KSR200, is a polyurethane bush kit designed to replace the OE rubber bushes that secure the steering rack to the cross member.
Like all polyurethane bushes, the KSR200 are low compliance (making them firmer), giving less flex than the OE bushes. What this means is a more responsive transfer of motion, giving a more responsive steering system.
The other advantage of polyurethane bushes is that they are not effected by oil, so when the vehicle develops oil leaks the bushes will not swell up like rubber does, so they will not loose there compliancy like the rubber will.
