I have had Whiteline KLC26 endlinks on my 2002 Subaru Impreza for over a year now, and they're great. When I first got the endlinks, it came with that little packet of grease for the install. I was wondering, how often should the endlinks be re-greased?

Hello,

With poly bushes, they are a maintanace item regarding lubrication, some more regularly than others depending on the application. The bushes that are on the KLC26 sway bar links are not as susceptible to alot of movement, therefore they do not need to be greased as regularly as other more pivoting bushes.
I would recomend re-greasing them when they become noisey or when ever you need to grease the 'D' bushes.

Sorry to hijack this old (but useful) thread...but can you give me an idea of the grease specification?

Thanks

Hello Mark,

The grease that we use and recomend is just any Lithium based grease, as it has very high load qualitys and lasts longer than most other grease.

I would guess with a MY00 classic Impreza the droplinks need a through clean and soak in grease. I am sure that the bushes don't rotate within the links.

Hello Mark,

It is recomended to give the bushes a thorough cleaning each time you re-grease the bushes to ensure that there is no debris that can cause premature wear or noise.
You will only need to apply a thin film of grease between all mating surfaces.
