Spring Rate of 73173, 73174

Hello,

I am shopping for a set of springs suitable for my Toyota Celica (ZZT231).

Since the Whiteline sport rated gas strut and shock are no longer available for my car, I have ordered a set of KYB adjustable short-stroke shocks (Buzz Spec) from Japan.

As for the Whiteline Control low springs designed for my car, could you tell me the front and rear spring rates, and the process of manufacturing of those springs?

As Whiteline shock absorbers are made to specification by KYB, Koni; Which company is in charge of the manufacturing of Whiteline specified lowering springs?

For your information, Whiteline shocks for your car are still available, so I'm not sure why you say otherwise.

Spring information requested:
73173 - 176 lbs/in (3.1 kg/mm)
73174 - 252 lbs/in (4.5 kg/mm)

Whiteline is in charge of design, testing and manufacturing of Whiteline springs. We do not copy, modify or use any other brand of springs.

...Whiteline shocks for your car are still available, so I'm not sure why you say otherwise...It's probably because they are not listed in the catalog. They used to be listed as a component in the in handling/sports/works packs, but that's not published anymore. At least I can't find a link to those. And the webstore is a bit difficult to navigate. Personally I like it, but it is easier if you know the part number ahead of time. I understand your core competencies are suspensions, not computers, and I'd rather have it that way.

If all you had in hand was the catalog, one could be led to believe there were no shocks because there is a provision to include shocks (small square at bottom right of each page) and there are no small squares in the ZZT231 Celica available item list.

Anyway, for people like Gordon, who would have purchased if they knew the whiteline product existed:
