Hey guys, picked up my car from a service, had a wheel alignment at the same time cos it was pulling to the left a fair bit

The printout shows everything is within spec, but now it pulls to the right (slightly, but still noticeable and annoying), and the steering feels heavier than normal

Taking it back next week, but I'd like to get some idea what the problem could be, even if its just guessing

- bad alignment?
- bent component somewhere?

It's also the 3rd time in 5 months I've gone to get an alignment done

Anyone help? Thanks

Zereul,

The best way to determine what is causing the problem that you are experiencing is to have a good look over everything that was done during your recent service, as the problem has switched from pulling to the left and now is pulling to the right. If the shop has rotated your tyres from left to right, this would be a fair indicator of the cause of the problem. However they haven't done anything along these lines and the wheel alignment is all that you can see as being able to effect the steering, then I would be inclined to say that they have over-compensated with the adjustments.

I would recommend that you ask the guys performing the wheel alignment to provide you with a reason for the pulling as the underlying factor may be either a bent component or a problem with the tyres.

I hope this helps you.

Cheers,
